Andrea Pyatt, MHS

Educational Therapist

Andrea has over 25 years of experience as an early childhood, primary, secondary, and post-secondary educator and administrator. She has provided structured literacy guidance and coaching based on the Science of Reading to school districts across the United States. In addition, she is Orton-Gillingham trained and focused on improving access to individuals with Dyslexia and Dysgraphia. A graduate of Williams College and The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, she is a world traveler committed to all learners. She has worked with schools and educators in the United Kingdom, South Africa, Ghana, and Jamaica. 


Andrea is a doctoral student in curriculum and instruction at George Washington University. Her research is focused on improving literacy practices for adolescent marginalized learners. She is also the mom of two brilliant, amazing teenagers.
